We wanted to build something different, and offer food made with the finest ingredients with the tastiest of flavours. Penelope’s is a celebration of the seasons, with sustainability at its core.
We also wanted to create an escape, an oasis, a place to disconnect from the demands of everyday life. Penelope’s is an open door, a welcome invite, and a space that is relaxed and low-key, with incredible food and flavours waiting here for you.
So come and visit, stay a while, and we hope you enjoy our farm.
To entertain, feed, and inspire people through great service, while focusing on our environmental impact, with a sustainable and ethical heart.
The farm is nestled within a protected green belt area of Sidcup in Kent, spanning over 25 acres and powered by solar and harvested rainwater. It’s our passion vision from a second-generation family who have developed a long-term restoration and conservation strategy to shape a sustainable family destination that the whole community can enjoy.
The estate has already planted over 1500 trees as part of its regeneration programme and with electric car charging on the estate, we are doing everything we can to ensure we are providing sustainable solutions to benefit not only the community, but also the planet.
Alongside the farm, farm shop, Penelope’s Restauarant and our Hut, we have a huge amount of walks to explore, a maize maze, plus an eco campsite so you could choose to stay a night or two.
We support local producers based in Kent, and we want to give them a platform to grow their businesses, as well as growing our own. We put them first and make sure they have everything they need when they come on board with us to not just survive, but thrive.
We’re proud of the work we have done so far and we can’t wait to show you the plans we have for the future, everyone is welcome.

We’re ready and waiting with open arms, whether you want to take a tour of the grounds and see our farm in action, or do a spot of shopping in the shop, we’re open 7 days a week. Our restaurant serves delicious food throughout the day, and our hut is open for those quick bites and hot drinks.
